By accessing or using Lumen ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lumen is a job analysis tool that uses AI to evaluate job postings and identify potential "ghost jobs" — listings that may not represent genuine hiring intentions. We analyze publicly available job posting data to provide risk assessments.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier: Limited to 3 job analyses per day. No credit card required.

Paid Plans: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems to scrape or extract data beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute analysis results without authorization
• Submit job postings you do not have rights to analyze

6. Limitations and Disclaimer

Accuracy: Lumen's analysis is AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any risk assessment.

Not Legal Advice: Our analysis does not constitute legal, career, or employment advice.

No Guarantee: A "low risk" score does not guarantee a job is legitimate, nor does a "high risk" score confirm a job is fraudulent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lumen and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumen operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
